Shimring Comments
LOL! That IS belated, but no less appreciated! Thanks, Abu_is_Evil!
A very belated congrats on your COTM!
Thanks Victor. Anything taken or borrowed from Shimring only blesses me more. There will be some good POST SHIMRING stuff posted soon – written by the Player Characters!
I will miss this campaign sorely, like a dear friend that moved away. Shimring has been such a source of inspiration, and I am happy to state that I have stolen from it liberally!
…and thank you too, Mathieu!
Wow, it was very Epic ! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us !
Thanks Stephen, but for the moment I will be playing in someone else’s game that may not be published on OP. I may just have to “DAZZLE” you with commenting on other sites for a while…..
As all things end they also have beginings. I can’t wait to see what new stories that Twiggy and his friends will dazzle us with in the future.
Victor, I’m glad you liked that line. I was trying to capture the spirit of Olidammara and I think that line does it best.
Love the Starbursting…. “But I am drinking wine” Classic.
He most certainly does, which is why he always carries a piano with him in his portable hole.
Does Rufus Wainwright break into song as he casts a spell?
Thanks Witchcraft, Gaitkeeper, Leonidaa300 and Dark Magus!
You hit 50 fans! Congrats!!
OK – The animated Dracolich on the wiki-page is awe inspiring – I got’s to get me one of those. The concise summary is a very nice touch.
Hey twigster! Great site. =) Totally fav’ed.
Hey Twiggy! A hearty-heartfelt congratulations from ours to yours! Well-deserved!
Thanks for the congratulations and the support over the last two or three years!
Congrats on the COTM! Great campaign sorry for late Favorite only been lurking and forgot to add!
Congrats Twigs!
Cheers,
-Arsheesh
The honour is all mine….
Loving the dragonshards! Thanks for helping me tie our campaigns together in a small way.
So, for reasons not fathomable, except for knowing this was not a PbP game, I had never clicked on the forums until today, when I read Leonidas’ comment. Wow! Never thought of that style of usage. Very cool!
Sorry for being long, but I wanted first to read back all the extraordinary Questor’s adventures ! I like your style, great details, great NPC, great combats !
When will do they made the trip to Athas ?…
THANKS for your comments, Twiggyleaf ! (and Malak thanks you too)
I once again update my thanks to those who have lent their support and commented on Shimring – ABU IS EVIL, RRIOULLARD, DLEPORTE7271 AND LEONIDAS300! Your words are as kingly gifts to a new born child!
got to say – WOW!
Excellent Image Quality and layout, very impressive wiki not only from a layout but excellent content as well. One of the best forum sections I have seen.
Here’s an EVIL and WICKED comment….Nice campaign! Adding to Faves.

Cool new video!
Nice work on this campaign. From what I gather, you’ve created a campaign that’s rich in quests and can lead to an infinite amount of great gaming sessions.
Well done,

This is a great site! KVP sent me, with the knowledge that he has stolen from you, and I see why! Good work!
A renewed message of thanks for the support – PILS, KILLERVP, STEPHEN WOLLETT and DUSKREIGN!

Thanks for the encouragement, Everyone!
Hey Twiggy, I like the new look of your site. The Star background seems appropriate given that much of the story revolves around planar travel. Also, I like your new banner graphics. Keep up the good work!
Cheers,
-Arsheesh
Hi Mark, I see you’ve been a busy DM. I enjoyed your ‘what it’s all about’ section – nice to see the grand framework!
Enjoy your gaming :-) Matthew
Sorry it took so long but I finally got around to reading your adventures logs and some of the wiki’s. We seem to have some similarities in how our games have taken characters from different settings and thrown them together to travel to even newer worlds. The inclusion of the Cthulhu mythos is great! I really love the mood it brings to any game. In my last campaign (which was never finished, sadly we were only a few adventures away from the last when the group disbanded…) I had this whole thing with “druids” that were soemthing like “alienists” from 2nd edition spells and magic and they worshipped these ancient dark and secret powers.
Your whole cosmology is very original and intriguing. It sort of reminds me of Greek mythology where there were the old gods (titans) and they were imprisoned by Zeus and the other younger gods, but there is always the threat of them be unleashed again upon the world. Very cool!
Anyways, it is coming along great and it looks like there is a very epic world-saving adventure yet to take place. I’m looking forward to reading more. :)
Hey Mark, I thoroughly enjoyed reading through your Temples of Primordial Power page. I did a double take when I read the word “Cthulhu,” I had no idea that you had incorporated Lovecraft’s mythos into your world! Also, your gloss on the Droomalith’s battle to rest power from the hands of the Elder Gods was quite interesting. Finally, I like your concept of Primordial “Power Leaks”, very creative. I envy your players!
Cheers,
-Arsheesh
Hi Twiggyleaf, I have enjoyed browsing through your site on a number of occasions. I really enjoy the depth you have created with your setting, your ruminations, and your player’s enthusiasm is delightful – I love the humour, such an important part of the RPG experience! I look forward to checking out your campaign regularly, cheers Matthew.
I like your description of the Heart of the Dracolich. Everything about this artifact just says "Epic Adventure in the making! I look forward to seeing how this plot thread unravel.
The Forum is beginning to work out quite nicely but I must point out that credit is due to all contributors and my players deserve equal thanks for their sublime efforts so far. Thank you for your commets!
My goodness, Twiggy, in your picture on the Bahamut page, is that… Venger? If so, AWESOME!
Also, I agree with Arsheesh. I envy your forum work. You are truly a gifted writer.
I enjoyed reading through the later half of the “Campfire” forum, Especially Zahariel’s contribution. Now that’s some writing! I look forward to following this storyline guys. Great job so far.
Cheers,-Arsheesh
I like the prestige point idea, a good way to get players involved with your OS page.
I’m duly impressed, Twiggyleaf! I love the idea of collecting characters from so many disparate settings and seeing what kind of world unfolds before them. I also have to commend you on your skills in crafting this campaign page. It is quite easy-to-navigate and pleasant to the eye. Well done. Five stars clearly earned, along with my respect and attention. I’ll be checking back to see how Shimring develops in the future.
